A few pics to summarize the last month!

As usual it has been a while. Jolie just turned 4 months last week and is so much fun. Every day we enjoy her more and more. I didn't think that was possible. She now weighs 15 lbs. We will find out how long she is this week. She loves to stand up, play under her gym, and is trying really hard to roll over. She has managed to do it once. Of course I missed it. I am waiting to see her do it again.

I am back at work 2 days a week and she stays with her Mimi (my mom) on those days. They have a great time.

Way Behind Jolie Tate 11 Weeks old!

Well as most of you can tell, I am way behind. Jolie was born on July 17, 2010. She weighed 9lbs and 2 oz. She was 20 inches long. She is now almost 13 pounds and 12 weeks old. Above is a picture of her at 10 weeks. Below are a couple of when she was born and a couple from lately.

I love being a mom! Mark is a great dad. We are having tons of fun. She is really a great baby. She is already sleeping around 5 to 6 hours straight at night. She loves to baby talk and is very active. I will try to start doing better with posting updates.

Getting Close

Well we are getting close to the due date. Okay maybe not too close. I am now 35 1/2 weeks. Here are a few pictures from the last month. I seem to update this blog about that often. I have more pictures to post but they will have to wait until later. I hope you enjoy these for now.


Here I am at 35 weeks. This is the crib in the nursery. When the nursery is completely done I will post pictures. We are still waiting on the dresser to come in before we finalize everything. I love the bedding on the crib though. It was my niece Ellie's and Mark's mom made it.

My friends in Nashville threw a Baby Shower last weekend. This is a group shot of almost everyone there. I will have more pics to post on that later. We had lots of fun!


Aunt Teresa, Baylee, and Grandma threw a shower in Fayetteville. It was so nice. I got to see family and friends I had not seen in a long time. The picture above is me with my cousins (all girls except Justin).

Once a Month

Once again I am behind on posting pictures and updates. I seem to be on a once a month schedule. The following pictures are from the last month. Things have been a little crazy around here. The picture above was at a friends wedding. A good family picture with Papa and Grandma!

Lots to catch up on!

Well, it has been a while since I have blogged so I thought I would catch up tonight. First, is a picture or me at 19 weeks pregnant.




The weekend of March 20th I went to OKC to visit friends and for my first baby shower. It was a fun weekend. On Friday it was 70 and on Saturday we had around 6 inches of snow. This is Mindy, Amy, Myself, Courtney and Dara at the shower. The roads and weather were pretty bad so we did what we could. My friends Mindy, Amy, and Danielle put a lot of hard work into everything. It looked great and was so much fun. It was so great to see everyone and spend time with each of you. I miss you tons!

The weekend of March 27th I traveled to North Little Rock, Arkansas for my second baby shower/92nd birthday party for my Grandmother. My Aunt Cecily and Aunt Linda put on a great bash. The age range was from 29 to 102.

I love this picture of my grandmother(in blue) and one of her close friends Esther. My grandmother turned 92 and Esther is 102. They still like to meet and visit.

24 weeks pregnant
Mark and I at the zoo easter weekend celebrating our niece's 2nd birthday. I am 25 weeks pregnant.
Easter Sunday! Can't even tell I am pregnant? Still 25 weeks.

On February 13th we had a gender reveal party.  It was really fun.  I made enchiladas and we ordered a cake to tell us what the gender was.  I took the envelope the doctor had wrote the gender on and gave it to the bakery without Mark and I looking at it.  It was a surprise for everyone.  The middle of the cake was to be blue if we were having a boy or pink for a girl.  We are having a girl!!  It was really fun to wait and all find out together.  I did think I was going to bust at first but the closer Saturday got the easier it was not to look.  I did not take as many pictures as I should have so here are a few that I did get.

Okay so these pictures are not in order but I am learning.  This is one of Chandra and I . We all wore the color of what we thought the baby was.  Chandra is in blue and I am in pink.

Starting my Blog

Well today is my first day to write on my blog.  I guess we will see how this goes.  My friends that do not live close tell me this is a great way for them to see my progress and I agree since we don't get to see each other that often.  It also is great for my family that is far away.  So I will try to keep it updated as much as possible moving forward.  

I am sixteen weeks pregnant and due on July 18th.  We find out what we are having on February 13th.  I am very excited.  I am completely okay whether it is a girl or a boy.  Just excited to know!  I will work on getting a couple of better pics moving forward.   So far things have gone really well.  I haven't been sick and for the most part not too tired.  My emotions kind of went crazy today but for the most part have been pretty mild.  I hope it continues that way.    Below are a couple of pictures taken during pregnancy.

            This picture was taken at a wedding in December.  I was around 8 weeks pregnant.
